Michael Clark

"It has been rare in my life to find a spiritual community whose members so whole heartedly pursue inner transformation through pure surrender to God. In being in their presence I have no questions about their sincerity and commitment to the inner path. Speech, action, and honesty all reflect this commitment. My brief stay inspired me on many levels. Upon arriving I immediately began to feel my heart open. Sitting down with Shunyamurti was a powerful experience that brought me directly into the present moment in spite of the ego's resistance . . .

We just looked into and through each other's eyes into that which is. This was a challenging and important experience that openned my eyes to the possibilites of higher vibrational communication with all of God's manifestations. Staying with Sadhananda was such a blessing. To participate in his daily practice gave inspiration to both my inner practice (passive meditation), and my outer practice (karma yoga/active meditation). The sangha as a whole showed the necessity of being actively involved with others who share the same vision for inner transformation. This inspiration has furthered the clarity and discernment necessary in remembering the Highest Truth of Being as the north star in my daily life."

Highest Regards, Michael Clark

Sat Yoga Retreat Announcement

To Prospective Visitors: Please note that we are now in process of constructing our rural ashram. We do not yet reside there, nor can we yet offer any retreats there, nor any space for volunteers. We will inform you when the ashram officially opens. In the meantime, because we are working very hard to get the ashram ready for residency, we can no longer offer full immersion / karma yoga retreats at our urban center. You are welcome to apply to come as a visitor, and if accepted you will receive an orientation and you will be able to attend all general classes (G) and meditation sittings, but we cannot guarantee that we will have time to offer individual sessions during this period. Visitors are responsible for arranging their own lodging, meals, and other details of their stay. We will provide a listing of hotels and B&Bs nearby to those who request such information. Thank you for your cooperation.
