August 2013 Retreat
Sahaja Samadhi - Perpetual Peace
August 10 - 16, 2013
Samadhi is complete absorption into the Supreme Self. This is first attained in silent sitting meditation, but then it can become our natural state, easy to sustain, simple to return to ceaselessly, until we live fully and completely in the heavenly consciousness of egoless presence. We shall examine the most subtle implications of the profound teachings on Sahaja Samadhi by its greatest living example, Sri Ramana Maharshi. We shall practice the method of Atma Vichara that is the core of the supreme science of consciousness that he taught and fully embodied.
Dates: August 10 – 16 (7 day retreat)

The Power of Silence (a silent retreat)
September 21 - 27, 2013
In this retreat, we will maintain continual outer silence as we delve deeply into inner Silence and solitude, until the ego mind dissolves forever and we attain the Diamond Mind of Vajrasattva (the Tibetan Buddhist form of the archetypal image of Sat Mind). There will be oral teachings of an advanced nature, including the precise instructions and wisdom of Seon, as expounded by Daehaeng Sunim, the great contemporary female Buddha from Korea. Outside of such transmission gatherings, we will dwell together in perfect silence, and enjoy the healing power of blissful serenity.
