The Sat Asana class focuses on deep relaxation, flexibility, and concentration through slow, mindful movements. Our asana class emphasizes Sat Yoga teachings on meditative presence and unity of body, mind, and Atman. The practice offers variations that cultivate supportive alignment, meditative breathing, and gradual approaches to more challenging poses. This asana class is taught by Saraswati, who has taught asana classes at previous Sat Yoga retreats and studies meditation and yogic philosophy at SYI. New students are asked to attend an orientation before joining the class.
