Dear Sir,

I have been following your videos and essay for sometime now.

I cannot appreciate enough the expansiveness and brilliance of your topics and what it means to humanity in general.

I hope rishis and yogis like you will guide humanity through these apocalyptic times.

May be one day I will be lucky enough to visit your ashram in Costa Rica.

Thank you

Doing vs. Not Doing vs. Non-Doing

Questioner: I have come across some teachers who say that there is absolutely nothing that you can do to be awakened, as any effort will create more duality.

They say no practice is needed. I was wondering if you agree with any part of their teachings.

Surrendering to God

Questioner: Hello master, I have an important question I would very much like an answer to.

The question is: When you talk about "surrendering to god", to put it short, how do you go about doing that?

I've heard many teachers say the exact same thing... just surrender... stop... rest...
But how do I surrender? How? I am most certain you don't mean physically rest...
I understand what you said... letting go of all the frames of reference created by language - by our conceptualisation of what is real - which turns out not to be real.
But how do I let go of the these frames of reference?
You also mention that we practice this with meditation. If I study meditation long enough, do I "attain" enlightenment?

Much love to you.

True Prayer

Questioner: Shunyamurti, you have mentioned how prayer can heal others, I was wondering if you can address how to pray effectively. The heart has to be involved but there has always been two schools. The ones who pray asking, and the ones who pray thanking, as if what is asked for has already come to pass.

I would be forever grateful if he could clarify the mechanics of prayer. Thank you.

My journey to the Sat Yoga Institute was a commitment to myself to “peel my onion” and from there like a flower bud it began to blossom. This sojourn has profoundly changed my perception forever, starting with the magical sense of Love and Peace that greeted me at each turn and the true hearts that live in the Devine Presence and Grace of All that Is.
