Creative Writing
In this monthly gathering, we write for an hour in a meditative state, then those who wish may read their writing to the group, and receive feedback and discussion. This has proven to be a powerful therapeutic instrument by those who participate. Open to all enrolled students.
An inner attack- is black
I learned today is a mass
And in terms of creating masses-
I am best in class.
And yet when I write there is
a hidden delight that I feel
most, most in the darkness starred night
I feel opened out-devout,
and my place on Earth
is not the place of my birth.
was my first lesson, that came from Bhairav
one seeks happiness and rejects love endless pleasure, not endless love-
I adore all that is below
and has its roots
where sails those on wings
born of God¹s inspiration, His creativity-as-His-love
Loving is the key to thinking
Heart closed, thoughts sinking
Shutter closed, ideas like distant stars- barely blinking
I feel the difficulty
The difficulty in true and deep thinking
Exercise: Ask God, or your Higher Self, what advise or information you need to succeed in the next stage of your spiritual journey?
I asked, and this is what came...
Crawl child, crawl...
Let thy face drown in the low ground
Crawl as Saint Francis and Ramakrishna did
Dance as a snake for thy holy Creator
Lift thy weak hand
Beg for help
Humble thyself
Repent, Repent, Repent...!
Do not rise until thy heart
Has opened and is bleeding
With My Love
Exercise: What message would God give you for your next stage of the spiritual journey?
Fly the Dragon
Become whole
The master over the ego’s wild jerks,
Ricocheting impulses of destruction;
Harness the split double-you
Dive through the hole – portal – passage to holiness
The other side of ‘exit’ is ‘enter,’
From exile, the return.
Fear not a searing fallI’
ll be there to catch you.
The bleeding cut before hidden
Strata upon strata and now exposed,
Healed in Love’s embrace,
The new found circle of wholeness
Contains all wounds,
Hermetically sealed, none escape;
Suture kindest of seamstress,
Hermit alone in God
All evil spells, burnt.
Easter time for new attires,
From death, the revival.
Oh dear child, friend, or beloved
I beg you to trust the words I say unto thee
Because they come not from my blindness
But from the golden sea of our eternal Being
People who make the courageous and wise decision of exploring their inner self will inevitably face a number of transformational phases that will represent trials and challenges along their spiritual journey. For those few souls who persevere and triumph against these divine tribulations, a number of interesting doors will begin to open. One of the first doors recognized in the Sat Yoga Approach, and perhaps one of the most difficult ones to open, is the door that leads to higher discernment. Discernment in Sanskrit is known as viveka. Thus, we will also refer to the domain of higher discernment as the Viveka Point.
Drowning, drowning
In the Golden waters of thy Heart
***
And all of a sudden
I saw thy beauty and thy goodness
And my heart cried painfully
And then it opened
