“The Supreme Power enables us to transform this world and not be victims of it, but be servants of God, Bodhisattvas, within it” - Shunyamurti.
The work we are undertaking to save endangered plants and animals from extinction parallels yogic efforts to rescue the human soul from annihiliation and return it to Spirit. Reintroducing biological corridors for animals to move around the ashram land, and to not be excluded from the property is a practice in co-habitation and the application of stewardship towards redeeming our planet of it's beauty; improving the quality of all experiences of life on Earth, not just our own. All of this comes to pass through the simple act of re-planting native trees and plants in areas that have been wiped out.
There is a process that happens called Biosequestration in which atmospheric greenhouse gas/carbon dioxide is captured; trees soak up any pollution and dust that's in the air while also re-establishing soil back to health, it goes hand in hand. In turn this is rebuilding our natural habitats and ecosystems while also mitigating global climate change.
Right now we are working with a Costa Rican organization by the name of Fonafifo that makes contracts with communities around the country for planting trees at a low cost, so it looks like our work has just begun!
We invite all beings who feel a call to contribute to the embodiment of the vision of our divine potential...
“The time to act is now. The Power of Love is invincible.”
